About Me I'm currently attending College of Charleston to receive my BA with a major in Anthropology and a minor in Archaeology. My hope is to go on to grad school and specialize in underwater archaeology.

New Bodice and Faire Time!

It has been ages, yes, ages since I have made my last post and probably just as long since I have visited this site.

Anyways, with CRF coming up I decided to splurge on a new bodice. Today I'm the happy owner of a Moresca Max bodice. I picked out a nice burgundy color because my goal is for my new garb to be fall themed.

CRF begins soon, but I will have to be patient and wait a few more weeks before I can go. For anyone attending CRF this year I will be there Oct. 27-28. And I will also be going to the Blackmore's Night concert in Charlotte on the 25th. I'm really excited about the concert. I have been a fan for 7 years and finally get to see them live.

Faire Time!

Wow, I can't believe its almost been a month since I have posted here. At least there is no dust, hopefully. :)

Fortunately, my spring college semester is almost over. I just have to finish this week of classes then deal with exams next week. Then I will be free!.....for two weeks at least. I'm coming back over the summer so I can finish my AA degree.

But I have something to look forward to over my brief break. On May 12th and 13th I will get to make my first visit to GARF. I'm so excited! My friend Brittany will be driving down from Ohio and we will leave for Atlanta Friday morning so we can go the the Medieval Times that night. Then a full weekend of faire! Of course, like usual with myself there seems sooo much to be done before faire. For Brittany its lots and lots of sewing. For myself, well, I have to make my favors. (It took me an hour the other night to make 4). I have already made hotel reservations which makes me all the more anxious. Hopefully, today I will have my frog in the mail and sometime next week I should have my cutlass for my pirate garb. :D

Its quite tough trying to remind myself to finish school first then worry about faire.
